This is an accessibility statement for tagastus.omniva.ee from Omniva and AS Eesti Post, first published on 17 June 2025.

Omniva is committed to the European Accessibility Directive and is determined to meet the European accessibility standard for ICT products and services EN 301 549 to improve accessibility for everyone, including people with special needs.

This accessibility statement is based on an accessibility audit of tagastus.omniva.ee done by an external evaluator. Parts of tagastus.omniva.ee portal are not accessible (listed under “Known accessibility gaps”) and Omniva is committed to fixing them to provide an accessible service for all.

Compatibility

Tagastus.omniva.ee is designed and tested to be compatible at least with the following assistive technologies:

Chrome browser on PC with JAWS screen reader;

Chrome browser on PC with a physical keyboard;

Safari browser in iOS with VoiceOver screen reader,  

Safari browser in iOS with Voice Control voice commands,  

Safari browser in iOS with a physical keyboard;

Browser and operation system zoom and font size increase options (up to 200%).

Known accessibility gaps

Here is a list of accessibility issues we’re working to fix. We appreciate your patience and apologise for any inconvenience in the meantime!

General

  • All pages on tagastus.omniva.ee have currently have the same page title.
  • The headings do not always follow a hierarchical order. On rare occasions, headings are not marked as headings.
  • When using zoom, some elements may overlap or become hidden, and the page may become unusable due to being covered by the mobile menu.
  • When increasing the font size in browser settings, not all texts increase.
  • Some texts, icons and input fields may not have sufficient contrast with the background and may be hard to see.
  • There is no skip link which would allow to navigate directly to the main content.
  • Most interactive elements do not have visible focus styles when navigating with the keyboard Tab key.
  • On rare occasions, focus may move behind an opened modal or move unexpectedly, e.g. after using the date picker or select element.
  • Invisible / closed navigation menus are not properly hidden for assistive technologies.
  • On desktop, the language globe icon, down arrow icon and flag icons are missing text alternatives. On mobile, the menu icon button does not have a text alternative. Modal closing icon buttons do not have text alternatives.
  • Screen readers may read out some uninformative images and icons as they are not properly hidden in code.
  • The states of buttons that show or hide additional content cannot always be programmatically determined.
  • When error messages appear, they are not read out automatically by screen readers.
  • Some links are not distinguished or are marked with colour only.
  • Omniva logos in the header and footer do not have text alternatives in code.
  • External link icons do not have text alternatives in code, so assistive technologies do not know which links open in a new tab.
  • Links that open PDF documents are not marked as such.
  • Shop logo links do not have text alternatives in code. 

Search

  • The search icon button in the search box is missing a text alternative.
  • When typing a word in the search box, suggestions are shown, but it is not announced by screen readers. A search suggestion must be selected, otherwise the search input is cleared. In some search boxes, the suggestions cannot be selected with keyboard.  
  • When search results are shown, it is not announced by screen readers. 

Forms

  • In some forms, inputs are not programmatically connected to their labels.
  • In some forms, the required input fields are marked with asterisk (*) but not marked as required for the assistive technologies. There is also no explanation that the asterisk marks required fields.
  • Some select and combo boxes are not fully accessible for assistive technologies and are not announced as “expanded” or “collapsed”.
  • In some combo box lists, at least one character must be entered to be able to select the options with keyboard on mobile.
  • Date picker calendars are not accessible for assistive technologies.
  • When navigating on a mobile device with a physical keyboard, date pickers may not be fully visible.
  • File upload inputs are not accessible for assistive technologies.
  • Fields that ask information about the user, are missing autocomplete values or have incorrect autocomplete values.
  • In the “Return” form, all fields marked with asterisk (*) must be filled in to continue. Currently, no feedback is given when “Next” is clicked without filling all required fields.
  • In the “Return” form, the current step cannot be programmatically determined.
  • In the “Return” form, there may be a button to “Add an item”. The button is not accessible for assistive technologies.
  • In “Return” form and modal dialogs, the edit, delete, question mark and close icon buttons are not accessible for assistive technologies.
  • In “Return” form, “I want to return” and “I want to change” are radio buttons, but their role and state cannot be programmatically determined.
  • In password fields, there is a button with an eye icon that toggles the visibility of the password. The button is not accessible for assistive technologies.

Issues on specific pages

  • On the log in page, after clicking 'Forgot your password?', the e-mail input field is cleared.
  • In “My returns” table, “Search” and “Sorting” inputs do not have labels in code and are not fully accessible for assistive technologies.
  • In “My returns” table, it is not possible to expand the table rows with all assistive technologies.
  • When logged in, “My returns” and “My settings” are clickable tabs, but their role and status cannot be programmatically determined.
  • On the log in page, “Customer login” and “Shop login” are clickable tabs, but their role and status cannot be programmatically determined.
  • The map and list of parcel machine locations are not fully accessible for assistive technologies. It can be difficult to move over the map area when there are many parcel machine locations visible on it.
  • The cookie modal is not accessible for keyboard on mobile devices.
  • The cookie settings icon button has text alternative “Open widget” which may not be clear. The button is focused as the last element on the page.
  • Some informative icons inside the cookie modal do not have text alternatives. Logos inside the cookie modal have text alternatives that may be unclear.
  • The cookie modal does not always change its language according to the selected language of the page.
  • After closing the cookie modal, focus may stay inside it.
